Rest assured your home is secure with the Bosma Aegis Smart Door Lock. This elegantly designed smart lock connects directly to your smartphone to provide convenient keyless entry and automatically unlocks the door when you come home. It also offers remote locking and unlocking via your phone. When you leave, the auto-lock feature will ensure your door is secure when closed. Aegis can even detect if someone is trying to break into your home, and immediately notify you when it happens.

Aegis is equipped with a sensor that can detect door orientation with high accuracy, and without the need to install an external sensor on the door frame. This means Aegis can detect whether the door is fully closed, and if it's left ajar, send you a notification as a reminder.

With the dedicated BOSMA app, you can share access with your family, friends, and visitors. Check the Activity History to see who’s coming and going and easily grant temporary guest access to visitors or tenants. You can manage guest keys remotely anytime, so you remain in control over your door access.

All data transferred is encrypted with bank-grade AES128 encryption so no one can gain unauthorized access to your Aegis lock. Additionally, Aegis applies randomized tokens to prevent various types of security exploits, including replay attacks.

Aegis is easy to install in minutes— all you need is a Phillips screwdriver. Simply remove the existing thumbturn, fix the provided base plate, then attach Aegis to the plate. Aegis is compatible with most standard US single-cylinder deadbolts. Since it only replaces the indoor part of your existing deadbolt, it is especially suitable for home renters who may not be able to change the existing locks. This also means you can continue to use your physical key as a backup option you'll never need.

It will auto-lock every time the door is closed, regardless of how it's unlocked. It will also auto-lock after a delay, if the door is unlocked but not opened.

Does the lock come with a WiFi Bridge?

Can it be hard-wired?

The Aegis does not require hardwire as it is battery powered.

Does it still work if wifi goes out?

If WiFi is down you are able to connect to it via Bluetooth to unlock/lock.
