.Being offered today is a high grade 1943 P (Philadelphia) Walking Liberty Half Dollar. This beautiful coin is graded by PCGS in Mint State (MS) 65.

This coin has a bright luster on both sides. It looks like it was just minted yesterday! This coin is an unusually nice high-end survivor with a sharp strike.

On the obverse of the coin, all of the lines on Miss Liberty’s dress, the lettering, the flowers, and the sun and rays are all well-defined. On the reverse, the eagle and all the feathers as well as the lettering are all well-defined also.

The obverse features an allegoric figure of Liberty holding olive branches against a rising sun. The reverse depicts an eagle with rising wings clutching a pine tree branch.
