The Large Kama Tarpis a versatile, super-large polycotton tarp measuring 17 x 17 ft, making it the largest one we offer. Its durable polycotton fabric casts deep, cool shadows, essential for summer camping and is less prone to burn holes from campfire sparks compared to other materials. The square shape and 16 attachment points allow for versatile setups to suit your needs. It’s amazing as a standalone shelter but also pairs exceptionally well with larger tents like the Kamaboko Super Tents, making it a versatile choice. (Poles not included)

Polycotton (65% polyester, 35% cotton)
Polycotton is a mix of polyester and cotton. Compared to polyester, polycotton provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Polycotton is commonly used for camping gear in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost. In an effort to introduce polycotton to the North American market, DOD is offering our line of polycotton tarps at prices competitive to polyester tarps.
