Kujira + Shinobu

The Ryukyu Islands are a chain of isolated lands lingering in crystal blue seas. Among these islands is Okinawa, where the customary distilling techniques of the region have evolved to bring a taste of the islands to the world in the form of Kujira Ryukyu Whisky. The Shinobu Distillery is located in beautiful Niigata prefecture of Japan. In the distillery lives a passionate whisky lover and an experienced brewer, Mr. Ken Usami. An innovator at heart, he utilizes rare Mizunara oak and the pure, natural, local water to showcase the unique flavors of Japan.
