Louis 7.5" Santoku Knife
Product Description
The Louis Santoku Knife features a perfectly balanced 7.5" full tang blade, ideal for mincing, slicing and dicing fruits and vegetables, as well as thin-boned meat and fish. Evenly spaced divots on the blade create small air pockets, allowing juices to flow and preventing food from sticking to the knife.
Louis kitchen knives are crafted in Thiers, France by 13th generation knife maker Tarrerias-Bonjean. They illustrate TB’s desire to create a line of high-end kitchen knives that remain user-friendly, low-maintenance, and perfectly suited for everyday use.
The full tang blade is made of proprietary Nitrox® high carbon stainless steel, which is durable and corrosion resistant. It's hardened to the sweet spot of 56HRC to preserve the blade’s flexibility, forgiveness, and allow for easy re-sharpening. Complete with an ergonomic walnut wood handle, each blade is fitted with a gorgeous double-sided flat grind, tapering down from the spine to the edge in a flat, linear slope. It produces a fine and crisp cutting edge which allows for extremely precise and delicate cuts meal after meal.
